²²^(A)And as they were eating, he took bread, and after ^(B)blessing it broke it and gave it to them, and said, “Take; ^(C)this is my body.” ²³And he took a cup, and when he had ^(D)given thanks he gave it to them, and they all drank of it. ²⁴And he said to them, ^(E)“This is my ^(F)blood of the^[a] covenant, which is poured out for ^(G)many. ²⁵Truly, I say to you, I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.”

Jesus Foretells Peter's Denial

²⁶^(H)And when they had sung a hymn, ^(I)they went out to ^(J)the Mount of Olives. ²⁷And Jesus said to them, “You will all fall away, for it is written, ‘I will ^(K)strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’
